Why Should you enroll?
- Studies show that between 63% and 82% of Kenyan secondary school students have experienced bullying.
- Recent studies conclude that women who complete a self-defense course are at least 50-60% less likely to be raped.
- As per a 2024 study conducted by Kenyans.co.ke, Kenya has been ranked 9 out of 54 African countries with the highest crime rate, most of them violent crimes.
- Learning self defense can stop bullying and reduce the negative effects of violent crime. Bullies and predators choose victims that they think would be easy targets. Self defense training helps stop bullying and violent crime by teaching students how to defend themselves. Once armed with this knowledge students will naturally project self-confidence and strength and will not come across as easy, weak targets.
- The DRD program is based on The Brazilian Jiu Jitsu technique which has been time tested as the best self- defense system to enable a smaller, weaker person to defeat a larger, stronger opponent using superior technique, leverage, and control.
